How do these sheets help with recovery?
The CELLIANT® infrared fibers in our Infrared Performance Sheets help bring energy back into our bodies while we sleep by increasing blood flow and circulation, therefore stimulating faster recovery and enhancing your sleep wellness.
Will infrared make me hot?
No. CELLIANT works by capturing and converting body heat into infrared. This causes increased local circulation which will help your body better thermoregulate itself.
When you are hot, CELLIANT will help keep you cool. When you are cool, CELLIANT will help warm you up.
Are the minerals in Infrared Performance fiber safe?
Yes. Our Infrared Performance Sheets are infused with CELLIANT viscose fiber, which is a mix of naturally occurring mineral and trace elements. None of these ingredients are harmful, nor is the combination of them harmful.
Will the sheets irritate my skin?
No. Our sheets are infused with CELLIANT which has been extensively tested for skin irritation, including tests for cytotoxicity, skin irritation, sensitization and leeching. CELLIANT passed all tests and thus is biocompatible. CELLIANT is completely safe and does not pose any health risks.
Can the infrared material wash out?
The Infrared Performance Sheets are made with 20% CELLIANT Viscose fiber which is durable and will last the useful life of the product. It won't fade away when you wash it, and the temperature you use to wash your clothes won't affect how well it works, though it is important to always follow the care instructions provided on the care tag.
Can I get the infrared benefits through multiple layers of fabric?
Yes! While the closer to the skin the better, our Infrared Performance products infused with CELLIANT can still provide you benefits through layers of fabric. For instance, you will still receive the benefits of infrared while sleeping on the Infrared Performance Sheets while wearing pajamas. Based on research, it is understood that infrared light penetrated the body up to 1.5 inches.
